I need to update you on some information I just confirmed. Briefly, about 1878, several families left Butler Co., AL and headed westward. Among these families were Lee, Burkett, Morrow, Sweeden, Franklin and possibly others. Several settled in Bienville Parrish, LA. The family of John H. Lee was one. Patrick Lee, my cousin probably has all the information of whom was John H. Lee's parents. Anyway, John H. Lee and wife, Louisa Ann Morrow Lee's child, Jessie Ophelia Lee was Thomas Lovard Lee's 2nd wife. Several of John H. Lee children settled in that area of LA as well and died there.
